What are ophthalmological operations?
We provide free visual exams in isolated areas of Patagonia, in the same communities where we collect nets, ropes, and metals used to make our glasses. This helps relieve the waiting list at the CESFAM and offers a new vision to the community in the territory where we work.

Milestones 2024

ISO 9001
Certification Monitoring
In 2023, we achieved certification in the ISO 9001 standard, a milestone that reflects our commitment to operational excellence and quality in all aspects of our business. In 2024, we followed the regulations to prepare for the 2025 recertification. This joint effort demonstrates exceptional collaboration among all areas of our organization, coming together to consolidate and continuously improve our processes.

Second scrap collecting - Caleta Tortel
In 2024, we carried out an unprecedented collection effort, unthinkable for communities as isolated as Caleta Tortel. Thanks to collaborative efforts with the local municipality, Parque la Tapera, Balloon Latam, and the entire community and local organizations, we were able to remove more than 2,000 kilos of scrap metal from the area, much of it accumulated over decades in remote areas.

Opthalmology
Exams
Ophthalmology examscontinue to be a key component of our territorial regeneration program. They not only promote eye health in isolated communities in Patagonia, but also close the loop in our value chain. It all begins with free eye exams, performed by specialists whom we bring to areas where access to this type of care is very limited. In 2024, we conducted three surgeries in Tortel, Cochrane, and Villa O'Higgins.

Educating for
Regeneration
In Cochamó and Hualaihué, we continue to work with four rural schools where children grow up surrounded by nature. In these places, together with the Rural Schools of Rollizo, Pocoihue, Río Puelo, and Áulen, we not only collect discarded materials, but also open conversations about something much bigger: how we can relate differently to what we call "waste" and to the environment that surrounds us.

These are the strategic allies that
make our work possible
